Thahaani Hashir, a 11th grade student pursuing her education in Our Own English High School, Sharjah, hails from Kollam, Kerala. Her passion for writing, sparked at the age of six, has led to significant accomplishments at a young age. In 2018, at just ten years old, she became the youngest author at the Sharjah International Book Fair with the release of her debut book, ‘Through My Window Panes’. Her second book, ‘Flames That Never Die’, followed in 2021, when she was 13. Thahaani has received several accolades, including the Rotary International Literary Award, UAE Exchange-Chiranthana Literary Award, and the ‘Our Own Young Writerly Award’. She has also been recognized by organizations such as RAK Chethana and Lights On Talent Zone.
