ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Recipient of the prestigious Sharjah Award for Excellence in the Distinguished Student category, Vishnupriya Pillai is a TEDx speaker, multi-genre author of five books spanning poetry, memoir, mystery, travel, and science fiction, and a dynamic young changemaker.
As the founder and coordinator of Youth for All Abilities – Inclusive Skill Share, she has led efforts to foster inclusion by empowering students to collaborate, learn, and build more compassionate communities. A two-time school All-Rounder awardee, she exemplifies sustained excellence across academics, leadership, and service.
Currently a Grade 10 student at GEMS Our Own English High School, Dubai, Vishnupriya has held prominent leadership positions, including Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl, President of the Student Well-being Focus Group, and Prefect roles through which she has actively shaped student voice and well-being initiatives.
Beyond her literary and leadership pursuits, she is a dancer, editor, and a firm believer in the power of purposeful action to create meaningful and lasting impact.
