This book traces the journey of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi, the 18th ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah from childhood until his ascension to the throne. His Highness grew up with a deep-rooted love of his nation and its history. He has always maintained a special passion for education and knowledge, which has guided and characterized his leadership. His Highness was appointed as the Minister of Education for the Emirates in 1971, a year before he officially became the Sovereign Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah on the 25th January 1972.
The contents of this book have been simplified to a great extent. It is hoped that the children who read it, develop a greater understanding towards the making of the man who has elevated the Emirate of Sharjah to its current prominent position.
