PANCHATANTRA KALILA-WA-DIMNA :-  MAMMOOTTY KATTAYAD

Panchatantra, the world’s first anthology of animal stories ‘ was translated into pahlvi , the Ancient Persian tongue in 550 AD .The Persian version was  translated into Arabic in 750 AD by Abdulla bin Al Muqaffa, an Iraqi scholar  with the tittle of ‘kalila -wa- dimna’ This book consists the complete stories of both with a comparison study through references . The Author  is trying to expose the power of the age -old ever made strongest bridge of the knowledge transaction between Indian continent and Arab world
