Jesus My Sweet Heart
(Novel)
Dr. Glory Mathew Aymanam
Jesus held my face in his both palms and looked into my face and asked;
‘Are you my girlfriend?’
Oh… no my God… My God and above all..!
I do strongly proclaiming and affirm the secularism of Jesus Christ, transcending all boundaries, as a humanitarian and His light of Universal Love and wisdom through my book ‘JESUS MY SWEET HEART’. Yes… He is a living God here and now.
Dr.Glory Mathew Aymanam (Author)
The writer, Dr. Glory Mathew Aymanam asked,” Oh Jesus, when I fell unconscious, why did you not stop my heart as well?.” The answer is this book, Jesus is her sweet heart for ever. The highlight of this wonderful book is for any man or woman, Jesus is a reliable companion.

I don’t find any point of criticism in this book’ Jesus My Sweet Heart’ by Dr. Glory Mathew Aymanam regarding the intimacy of God and His creation ‘man’. The writer feels ultimate security in the tie up with God Almighty.

FOREWORD
Dr. Glory Mathew, a gifted writer and close friend of Kottayam Public Library has just written a travelogue on her Holy Land Tour led by Veteran tourist organizer Fr. Sleeba Kattumangattu of Royal Omania Group. After a grand release function of the Malayalam version, she has now come out with the English Translation titled “Jesus My Sweet Heart”. The unique writing style and amazing analytical skill displayed in portraying the times and life of Jesus Christ are commendable. From page 1 the reader will feel that he is travelling in a Time Machine, Travelling 2000 years backward in time, walking and talking with Jesus Christ, the Saviour and benefactor of people torn between differing selfish interests, deceit and greed.
Glory firmly believes that Jesus had travelled outside Jerusalem for 18 years from the age of 12 to 30. Then he returns to Jerusalem for full 3 years of active presence and teachings. He went all across the forests, dale and mountains in Asia. He had gone through both sides of Himalayas, Kashmir, Nepal, Uttaranchal and Meghalaya. These 18 years which is usually left blank in History is thus explained. He had to go away from Jerusalem at the age of 12 because of the sarcasm and verbal thrashings he suffered from the Pharisees and Priesthood of Jerusalem.
The book is a total departure from usual travelogues. One could read this as a novel. While seeing the Historical places one is made to be physically present for all those great events, the Cana miracle, Gadasemen Garden, Trial of Jesus, and Crucifixion at Calvary. The author herself becomes an integral part of the event. Had Glory been present then at Calvary she would have certainly been a Veronica the brave lady who went through the barricades and soldiers to get near Jesus Christ. Christ carrying the heavy wooden cross was beaten and spat upon by the Soldiers. Blood was pouring out from his face by the stab from lances. No one person would have suffered such brutal whipping and stabbings, beggaring description. Veronica could not bear the sight of the bleeding face of Jesus Christ and boldly wiped the face with a piece of cloth.
Her beloved husband Mathew Kanjikara who was a close friend of mine from 1982 till he left for his heavenly abode. Inspite of her serious car accidents and certain setbacks before, Jesus saved her and helped her to undergo the Holyland Tour. There Glory finds Jesus Christ, gets Love from Jesus and enjoys Celestial bliss and considers this tour a pilgrimage with Jesus. In front of the Altar in Mount Tabors Church she has a vision of Jesus Christ appearing before her with her departed beloved husband Mathews Kanjikara. She was in the midst of her companions in Tour party. Seeing this immaculate vision she swooned and the fall was cushioned by helping hands around, saving injuries. When she revived after prayer by Sleeba Achen, she asked herself “Oh Jesus, when I fell unconscious why did you not stop my heart as well? “But then she realized “ Jesus her Sweet Heart” did it on purpose that for the rest of her life she will bear testimony to her Jesus Christ, who brought her “Achayan” also at Tabore Hill Church.
Theologians have sought to interpret the Bible and teachings of Jesus Christ, but the need however is to identify yourself with Him, totally submit yourself and be an integral part of Him. For any man or woman Jesus is a reliable Companion. That is the highlight of this wonderful book. I wish Dr. Glory All the Best and may God help her to bring out such magnificent books in the future also.
