Pradosh puthanpurayil is a son of Puthan Purayil Narayanan and Kurunthazha Sarojini, was born in 1981 at Kolachery in Kannur district. He pursued his education from EPKNSALP School, Kambil Mapila High School, Commerce Degree from Calicut University and achieved the Praveen of Hindi Pracharasabha. Now working as Deputy Head of Research and Development Department at Malabar Gold and Diamonds, is also a trainer at Malabar Institute of Management Studies. All the knowledge gathered by researching about gold and various aspects of gold jewelery was imparted to more than six thousand people through classrooms. He wrote ‘Swarnam Ariyendathellam’ published by Mathrubhumi book and now available 4th edition in every book stall. He wrote and directed the short films ‘Ujalan’ and ‘The Leader’ and won awards.
